A New Centrality for Quinta de Cravel
The construction of the new High-Speed Line between Porto and Lisbon represents a significant milestone in the development of transport infrastructure in Portugal. This project, promoted by Infraestruturas de Portugal, aims to reduce the travel time between the country’s two main cities to approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, via a 290 km long railway line.
A crucial component of this project is the inclusion of a new station at Santo Ovídio, positioning Vila Nova de Gaia as a central point on the national rail map. The proximity of Quinta de Cravel to the future Santo Ovídio station will bring significant benefits to its residents.
Located next to Avenida da República, Quinta de Cravel already benefits from excellent access to the main roads and proximity to various services, such as schools, shopping centers, and hospitals. With the new high-speed train station nearby, residents will have easy access to fast and comfortable journeys to Lisbon and other cities served by the High-Speed Line, reinforcing the centrality and attractiveness of the development.
This development not only adds value to Quinta de Cravel but also boosts the region’s urban and economic growth. The integration of a high-speed transport infrastructure nearby will improve the quality of life for residents, with easy access to the main Portuguese cities.
